Biography

Born in Switzerland, I spent my first ten years in France before moving to England where I was raised. I have now settled in Scotland and call it my home. My academic background includes a degree in Chemistry from Edinburgh University, and my professional experience spans 26 years working in IT, specifically supporting Adobe products.

As a teenager, I discovered my passion for photography and honed my technical skills over time. Eventually, I decided to leave my job at Adobe to focus more on my creative pursuits. To further my education, I enrolled in a two-year photography program at the Leigh School of Art.

My passion for the abstract has been a significant influence in my work, which I've typically expressed through macro and landscape photography. However, I have also applied some of the techniques and concepts I've learned to explore a variety of other photographic themes. This has opened up a whole new world of subjects for me to investigate further, leading to exciting discoveries along the way.

Ultimately, my creative process revolves around embracing the unknown and relinquishing control. I find inspiration in unpredictability and consider it to be my creative partner.
